TAWAU : An eight-month-old baby girl abducted at Kampung Rawa-Rawa Batu 4, Jalan Apas near here this morning, has been found safe.
It is learnt that the child was found by members of the public at an oil palm plantation, believed to have been left behind by her abductor.
Earlier today at 6.15am, the mother realised the baby had been taken from their home.
A man named Jun is believed to be the key suspect. It is learnt that he had sent a WhatsApp message to the girl's father, demanding that he pay a friend's RM100,000 drug debt.
Police have confirmed that the baby is safely back with the family. However, investigation into the case is ongoing.
