Malene Insurance Brokers Sdn Bhd raised RM77,750 at its fourth annual charity golf tournament at Kota Permai Golf Club recently.
The money raised will benefit the National Autism Society of Malaysia (Nasom).
The event attracted 26 sponsors from companies in the insurance industry comprising insurers, adjusters, marine surveyors and reinsurance brokers.
Malene Insurance Brokers, alone, made a RM60,000 donation to Nasom.
Since there were no winners for the “hole-in-one” and “bull’s eye’s” competitions, the cash prizes on offer were also donated to Nasom.
Tunku Dayang Adelene Bahjah, Tunku Abang Faisal Amir and Tunku Datuk Nooruddin, chairman, chief executive and director of Malene Insurance Brokers respectively, presented the donation to Nasom chairman Feilina Feisol and chief executive Razin Murat.
