MACC hunts man impersonating as MACC officer

KOTA BARU: Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) is looking for a man believed to have been impersonating himself as an MACC officer and cheated two individuals recently.

In a statement released today, MACC said they are looking for one Norshah Abdul Rahman, who can help shed a light on the case.

The last known addresses of the 43-year-old man are Blok B 143, Taman Makmur Kok Lanas Kota Baru and Kampung Padang Lembek in Ketereh.

Those who have information on the man are urged to contact the investigation officer of the case Chaiyuth Fun Pon at 012-4154845 or the state’s MACC office at 09-7661800.

Kelantan MACC director Datuk Moh Shamsuddin Yusof confirmed that the case is being investigated under Section 471 of Penal Code.
