Int'l reserves at US$94.3 billion: BNM

KUALA LUMPUR: Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM)'s international reserves stood at US$94.3 billion (RM420.5 billion) as of Jan 13.

The reserves position is sufficient to finance 8.7 months of retained imports and is 1.3 times the short-term external debt.

Reserves were at US$94.6 billion as at the end of last year, compared with US$95.3 billion as at end-2015.
