Taman Tasik Titiwangsa to stay open until June

KUALA LUMPUR: Taman Tasik Titiwangsa, which was initially set to be closed to make way for the River of Life Project (RoL), is now to remain open to public until June.

City Hall (DBKL) Corporate Planning Department director Khalid Zakaria, in a statement today, said the postponement was due to technical changes in RoL (Package 2), now scheduled to be carried out from June this year to Dec 2019.

Following this announcement, toilets and prayer rooms have been reopened.

Sales kiosks will also continue their operations until the project - which will involve the entire park - commences.

In December last year, DBKL announced that the park would be closed from January to December 2018.
