Petrol unchanged, diesel up by 5 sen for March

KUALA LUMPUR: Petrol prices will remain unchanged for the month of March.

Diesel prices, however, will go up by five sen per litre.

Confirming this today, sources within the Domestic Trade, Cooperatives and Consumerism Ministry said the price of RON 95 and RON 97 fuel will remain unchanged for the month of March.

RON 95 will be priced at RM2.30 per litre, while RON 97 will retail at RM2.60 per litre.

Diesel will go up by five sen to RM2.20 per litre and Euro 5 Diesel will be at RM2.30 per litre, up by 5 sen.

The unchanged petrol prices brings an end to two consecutive months of increased prices. In December, RON 95 was priced at RM1.90 per litre, and went up by 20 sen in January.

The fuel also saw another 20 sen rise in February, retailing at RM2.30 per litre.
