SapuraKencana wins RM433.6mil in contracts

KUALA LUMPUR: SapuraKencana Petroleum Bhd (SKPB) subsidiaries have been awarded contracts with a combined value of approximately US$97.4 million (RM433.6 million), the company announced yesterday.

First, SapuraKencana TL Offshore Sdn Bhd (SKTLO) was awarded an umbrella contract by Petronas for the provision of Pan Malaysia Transportation and Installation of Offshore Facilities.

The work consists of transportation and installation of platform, structures and pipelines and its associated works. The contracts are for a duration of one year from 2017 to 2018.

SKTLO was also awarded a contract by Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd (PCSB) for the provision of engineering, decommissioning, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning for Sepat Mobile Offshore Production Unit Stabilisation and Repair Works.

This contract is for a duration of about five months.

PCSB also awarded a contract to SapuraKencana HL Sdn Bhd (SKHL) for the provision of procurement, construction and commissioning (PCC) of Full Well Stream Air Cooler Module on the NC3CP-A Central Processing Platform. The contract is for a duration of 33 months.

Finally, SKHL was awarded a contract by PCPP Operating Company Sdn Bhd for the provision of engineering, preparation, removal and disposal for Dana and D30 facilities decommissioning project.

The contract is for a duration of approximately nine months.
