The deadline for applications to public universities, polytechnics and community colleges has been extended to April 5.
The Higher Education Ministry said this was due to the delay in announcing Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia results, which will be made on March 16.
“The applications can be made through the UPU online system at http://upu.mohe.gov.my.”
It added that the deadline to buy Bank Simpanan Nasional’s (BSN) unique ID had been extended to April 4.
“Applicants must buy the number at BSN for RM15.64 before submitting their application.
“Applicants must ensure they keep the payment slip as proof for reference.”
A consultation counter for applicants will be opened at the ministry’s office in Putrajaya from March 10 to April 5. The counter will open from 8.30am to 4.30pm. Applicants can call 03-88708200 for enquiries.
