HTC VIVE

It’s one of the most advanced virtual reality (VR) headsets out there. It was made for collaboration with Valve, one of the giant developers of video games and the well-known gaming ecosystem, Steam. This headset adapts well to video games on Steam and provides 70 sensors for 360-degree head-tracking. It comes with a 90Hz refresh rate.

SONY PLAYSTATION VR

Playstation fans would want to add this headset to their Playstation devices. It may not be the best headset out there for VR experiences but when it comes to compatibility, this headset is surely the perfect choice. It can be enjoyed with latest games that offer VR experiences such as the acclaimed Resident Evil 7.

OCULUS RIFT

Oculus is the headset that pioneered the VR phenomenon. It features a 2160 x 1200 resolution which contains 233 million pixels per second for better display. It carries a hefty price tag but the headset is capable to adapt to any latest PCs out there.

GOOGLE CARDBOARD

It is a low-cost DIY virtual reality headset that can be built by anyone. You can get the fully assembled one from third-party manufacturers.

An ideal choice for Samsung smartphone users as this gadget provides better features such as an improvement on the viewing angle, darkening of the colour tint, and reduced reflections and glare.

XIAOMI MI VR PLAY

Another cheaper version of a mobile VR headset and it is not made of cardboard. Made entirely of lightweight Lycra, the headset incorporates a unique two-way zipper design. Anti-reflective lenses have been included to ensure that the Mi VR Play provides clear images through aspherical lenses.

ZEISS ONE PLUS

It has multiple features that are not usually offered by any standard VR headset. First, it comes with glasses compatibility, which means you don’t have to remove your glasses while experiencing the VR content. It has a media player for the convenience of pictures and Youtube videos, as well as its own app for augmented experiences.

GOOGLE DAYDREAM VIEW

Google claimed that the headset is 30 per cent lighter than other mobile headsets that are in the market.

However, Daydream is only compatible with Google’s Pixel phone and several other smartphones.
