Trive lands RM100 million order from China partner, Guang Bo

KUALA LUMPUR: Green energy storage solutions provider, Trive Property Group Bhd, has received a fresh order amounting to RM100 million from its China-based partner, Hubei Guang Bo New Energy Co Ltd (Guang Bo).

The new order comprises charge controllers, inverters, batteries, chargers, LED lights, solar panels, polymer materials, drive shafts, blades, generators, nacelles, yaw drives, yaw motors and others.

The project, which will start with immediate effect, is expected to be completed within three years.

Trive and Guang Bo had earlier this month signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on a joint collaboration in the field of renewable energy.

Under the MoU, the companies will jointly conduct research and development, production, assembly, distribution and marketing of power generation systems, including an off-grid/grid-connected wind power generation system.

“The collaboration aims to enhance the benefits of harnessing renewable energy through the use of a solar-power generation system and the wind-solar complementary power generation system,” it said in a statement.

The partnership will provide Trive with the opportunity to gain additional capacity and technological knowledge in the renewable energy sector by tapping Hubei Guang’s specialised technical staff and patented technology.
