Domino's Pizza unveils 200th store in Cyberjaya

CYBERJAYA: With Malaysia being its largest market in Southeast Asia, Domino's Pizza celebrated its success in style by opening its 200th concept store here this evening.

The new store, located in Galleria, was officiated by the president and chief executive officer of Domino's Pizza Inc., Patrick Doyle and the executive chairman of Domino's Pizza Malaysia & Singapore, Datuk George Ting.

"Malaysia is our largest market in Southeast Asia and the fastest growing in Asia Pacific. I'm honoured to be here with my friend, Datuk George and my teams from Malaysia and Singapore," enthused Doyle.

Attributing Domino's phenomenal success story in Malaysia to his dedicated staff, loyal customers and supportive principal management team from the United States, Ting said, "The staffs are the backbones of this company. I think we have a good brand. A good principal supporting us. We honour what we've promised our customers – great pizza for great value."

The Cyberjaya store marks the 14,000th worldwide store for Domino's Pizza and the 3,500th store in the Asia Pacific.

"25% of Domino's stores worldwide are in the Asia Pacific," said Doyle. "But this store in Cyberjaya is truly one of the best operations that we have anywhere else in the world. Fantastic food, great service and the best technology. And it's a beautiful store."

The new store oozes a strong international feel, American-style ambience and signifies Domino's technology-focused approach as it moves into the next phase of growth in Malaysia's global technology hub.

"Over the years, we have evolved and adapted to consumer and market demands," Ting added. "Echoing Domino's Pizza International's approach, we are very much progressing as an e-commerce, technology-centric company, particularly in reaching out to our customers."

Domino's Malaysia is expected to launch a series of technology-based services to enhance its customer experience in the coming months, Ting said.
