GEORGE TOWN: A man was found dead in his rented flat at Jalan Padang Tembak here today with his hands and legs bound.
The victim, identified as M. Sathiwill, 20, was found covered by a cloth in his room by the landlady at about 9.30am today.
Northeast District Deputy Police Chief Supt V. Saravanan said that the victim was renting the unit with his brother from the woman for the past one month.
“The body has been taken to Penang Hospital for post mortem.
“For now we have detained the landlady for investigation,” he said in a statement today.
