Cops release images of 2 burglars who beat up girl in Bangi

KUALA LUMPUR: Police today released photofits of two burglars who allegedly beaten up a 14-year-old girl when they broke into her home in Kampung Masjid, Bangi on Friday.

Kajang police chief Assistant Commissioner Othman Nanyan said one of the man is about 170cm tall, has dark complexion and sporting a 'flat top' hair style.

The second man, he said also has a dark complexion and braided hair.

Both men are believed to be in their 20s.

"Police are requesting the public to come forward to assist us in the investigation," said Othman.

It was reported that the 14-year-old girl was allegedly beaten up by the duo during the break-in. She sustained severe injuries on her face and head in the incident.

The victim’s 48-year-old mother found her lying on the bed covered in blood with injuries to her chin and head when she returned home. The girl sought treatment at the Kuala Lumpur Hospital.

It was believed that she had resisted them when the burglars struck her with blunt and sharp objects
