KANGAR: The magistrate's court here today granted a two-day remand order against DBI Properties managing director Datuk Nuruliman A. Rahman, and three directors of Kelulut Global Ventures, as part of a probe into a property scam involving RM6.2 million.

Nuruliman, 37, popularly known by his stage name ‘Boy Iman’ and the trio were produced at court at about 9.47am.

The remand order on the four, who are being probed under Section 420 of the Penal Code for cheating, was granted by Kangar Court assistant registrar Monica Joseph Gaisah.

Nuruliman was represented by lawyer Rosman Azwan Osman; while the trio, aged between 30 and 45, was represented by lawyer Syed Muhammad Anwar Syed Lokman Hakim.

This is the sixth remand order on Nuruliman and the trio following similar probes. They were previously detained in Ampang, Shah Alam, Muar, Sungai Petani and Jitra.

The probe follows police reports lodged against them by house buyers in Negri Sembilan, Johor, Selangor and Kedah.

Nuruliman was detained last Monday for his alleged involvement in a property scam with losses amounting to RM6.2 million, based on 210 police reports lodged nationwide, including six in Perlis.
