Kajang twins high on drugs nabbed by Nada

HULU LANGAT: A pair of twins was caught red-handed taking drugs together by the National Anti-Drugs Agency (Nada) at their house in Kajang on Friday.

They were among five people, aged 31 and 60, who were nabbed by Nada during Ops Cegah at two locations in Kajang and Semenyih.

In the operations conducted from 9am to 5pm Hulu Langat Nada raided several residences and nearby locations marked a ‘drugs nest’ in the area.

Hulu Langat Nada chief officer Muhamad Ramlan Syed Ahamed said the twins, aged 48, were arrested at their house in Kajang.

"The brothers were high on drugs when they were detained in their room. Police found various types of tools and containers for drugs consumption in the room.

"Checks on them revealed that both have drugs record," he said, adding that the duo tested positive for heroin and syabu.

Ramlan said the elder twin has just ended his supervision period last year while the younger brother went missing as soon as his supervision period ended in 2010.

All suspects were brought to Hulu Langat Nada office for further action under Section :pensive:1) of the Drug Dependants (Treatment & Rehabilitation) Act 1983.
