Remand order for Lukut Health Clinic murder suspect extended by 7 days

PORT DICKSON: The remand order against a suspect in the murder of a dental technician at the Lukut Health Clinic quarters here has been extended by seven days until next Tuesday.

Port Dickson district police chief, Superintendent Zainudin Ahmad said the 19-year-old man was taken to Port Dickson Magistrate's Court Tuesday morning after his seven-day remand order ended.

"The remand extension is to enable the police to complete investigation into the case under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder," he said when contacted here today.

On Jan 22, the victim, Mahusin Abd Rahim, 28, was found dead in his home with severe head injuries believed to be caused by hard object.
