KUALA LUMPUR: Two young siblings are believed to have been kidnapped from their Petaling Jaya kindergarten by three individuals yesterday.
Raheel Khan, 6, and his sister Aleya Reyhana, 4, were missing when their aunt, who has declined to be named, arrived at the Section 16 kindergarten to pick them up.
It was later learned that the unidentified individuals, one of whom was a woman, had taken the children at 9am on the pretext that they were scheduled to undergo medical check-ups.
Petaling Jaya District Police chief Assistant Commissioner Mohd Zani Che Din confirmed that a report on the incident has been lodged.
“The investigation is ongoing,” he added.
Members of the public with information on the two missing children are urged to contact their nearest police station. – Bernama
