Gunshots heard in front of entertainment outlet in Bukit Bintang

KUALA LUMPUR: Two people were believed to have fired several shots in front of a popular entertainment outlet in Bukit Bintang, last night.

City Crime Investigation Department chief SAC Rusdi Mohd Isa said following the incident, the police have discovered 25 bullet shells at car park located 30 metre-away from the premises’ entrance.

He said no one was hurt in the 10.50pm incident.

“A witness said he heard several gunshots coming from the carpark fired towards the wall of the entertainment outlet.

“It is believed that the suspected duo had fired the shots towards the outlet entrance. There were four staff at the entrance and reception area at the time,” he said in a statement today.

He said the police had yet to determine the gender and identity of the duo who were believed to be riding on a motorcycle.

“Investigation into the shooting incident, including the motive, is ongoing,” he said.
