PUTRAJAYA: A dance teacher was charged today with eight counts of committing unnatural sex against his 15-year-old student.
Lee Men Chun, 42, had allegedly forced the boy to have oral sex and performed physical sexual assault on the boy between last April and June.
The case was heard at the Special Court for Child Sexual Crimes here.
Lee pleaded not guilty to the charges.
The first to fourth charges related to unnatural sex by performing oral sex on the victim.
The fifth to eighth charges related to physical sexual assault on the teenager.
All the offences were allegedly committed at Taman Bukit Serdang, Selangor, between last April and June.
The accused was charged under Section 377 C of the Penal Code for carnal intercourse against the order of nature without consent and Section 14(a) of the Sexual Offences Against Children Act 2017 for physical sexual assault on a child by touching any part of the body of a child.
Deputy Public Prosecutor Aimi Syazwani Sarmin did not suggest bail for the accused.
However, Judge Yong Zarida Yong Sazali set bail at RM80,000 with one surety and fixed Nov 23 for mention.
She also ordered the accused to surrender his passport to the court.
