Boy Tiger and wife's remand orders extended (NSTTV)

KUALA LUMPUR: The remand on Khairul Izaini Khairuddin, better known as ‘Boy Tiger’, alleged to have abused his three-year-old stepson to death, has been extended for another seven days.

Ampang Jaya district police chief Assistant Commissioner Hamzah Alias said the 31-year-old man would be remanded till Nov 26 to facilitate investigation.

The remand on the suspect’s wife Noraini Samian, 20, who is also the mother of the victim, was also extended.

“Boy Tiger will be remanded till Nov 26 while his wife will be remanded till Thursday (Nov 22) to facilitate investigation into the death of the three-year-old toddler under Section 302 of the Penal Code,” he said when contacted today.

On Nov 8, the couple fled after medical officers at the Ampang Hospital confirmed Muhammad Khairil Akmal Abdul Rahman who died 30 minutes after he was sent to the hospital for treatment, was abused.

Last Monday, the two were arrested by the police at the Kajang Hospital at 11am when Boy Tiger sent a pregnant Noraini there to give birth.
