Two skulls, bone fragments found on roof of Sitiawan building

MANJUNG: Two skulls and fragments of human bones, believed to be from two murder victims were found on the roof of a building next to a bank in Sitiawan here.

District police chief Assistant Commissioner Mohamed Nordin Abdullah said police were alerted to the discovery by members of the public at 10.20am today.

"Further checks at the scene found two human skeletons.

"Police also found a Perak flag, black cellophane tape, a piece of coloured cloth, a dirty white t-shirt, blue pillow cover, two red plastic carrier bags filled with a human skull each and a knife," he said in a statement last night.

He added that the human skeletons have been sent to the Forensic Unit of Raja Permaisuri Bainun Hospital in Ipoh for post-mortem.

"The case has been classified under Section 320 of the Penal Code for murder.

"Those with information are urged to contact senior investigation officer Assistant Superintendent Azalan Ab Karim at 019-392 7837," he added.
