BATU PAHAT: The results of the deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) test on six bone fragments found near the location where Bella's skeleton was discovered in Kampung Batu 7, Tongkang Pechah, are expected to be known within the next two weeks.

Batu Pahat district police chief, Assistant Commissioner Ismail Dollah said that they are still awaiting the chemical report on some of the bones found after they were sent to the Chemistry Department on February 29.

All the bones were found by a backhoe driver while cleaning the site near the abandoned rental house, at 11.30am in the morning. As a result, forensic teams from the Johor contingent police headquarters were called in to assist in the investigation at the discovery site.

All the bones found have been sent to the Johor Chemistry Department for DNA comparative analysis.

Meanwhile, when asked about the investigation status regarding threats against Bella's sister, Norhisham, 36, three days ago, Ismail said they are still waiting for confirmation from the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) to obtain the relevant account.

He said, in the previous investigation, the police found that the owner of the mentioned account had already set it to 'private'.

"The request (from MCMC) is to ascertain the real owner of the account, if obtained, only then can we proceed with further investigations.

"This includes investigations into suspects as alleged in the police report on March 17," he said.
