TASEK GELUGOR: A motorcyclist lodged a police report alleging he was threatened and knocked into by a car driver.
The incident caught on video has since gone viral on social media yesterday.
Seberang Prai Utara district police chief Assistant Commissioner Mohd Asri Shafie said the 27-second video footage showed that the victim was threatened and knocked into by the car driver at a petrol station here.
"Initial investigation revealed the victim had ticked off the car driver for overtaking without turning on the indicator lights.
"This resulted in the suspect being dissatisfied and had used his car to knock into the motorcycle.
"The viral incident is clearly a crime, investigated under Section 427 and Section 506 of the Penal Code," he said late last night.
Asri urged those with information about the incident to contact any of the nearest police stations to assist in the investigation.
