Four teenagers reported missing in Rimba Riang Forest found safe

KUALA LUMPUR: Four teenagers who were reported missing were found after losing their way for nearly 10 hours in the Rimba Riang Forest, Seksyen 9/3, Kota Damansara here, today. The teenagers, all aged 15, were identified as Muhammad Zulhair Afifi Mo’ti, Muhammad Shaheed Othman, Muhammad Fahmy Nazreen and Fitri Nur Danish Norazmi.

Selangor Fire and Rescue Department assistant director (Operations) Mohd Sani Harul said a distress call was received at 12.58pm before mounting a search and rescue (SAR) operation involving 13 personnel from the Sungai Buloh Fire Station. “All the victims were found safe at the highest peak (of the forest) at 5.20pm. They were weak,” he said when contacted by Bernama. -- BERNAMA
