Form 2 trio steal motorcycles for fun, target Modenas Kriss, Honda EX5

PUTRAJAYA: Police have arrested three Form 2 students on Monday, suspected to have been actively stealing motorcycles around the district since early this year.

Its police chief Rosly Hasan said the 14-year-old boys were believed to be involved in the theft of at least 12 motorcycles.

The trio, who called themselves "Kumpulan Pendekar Azam", were known to target moped such as Modenas Kriss and Honda EX5.

"We learned that these boys had stolen these motorcycles for their personal use.

"Once they have grown bored using them, they will abandon the motorcycles and steal some more," he said.

Rosly said during interrogation, one of them said they used a 'master key' to steal and start the two types of motorcycles.

"We have confiscated two motorcycles and the 'master key' which was in their possession at the time of arrest," he added.

The trio have been remanded for five days under Section 379 (A) of Penal Code for vehicle theft, and were expected to charged tomorrow.
