FB friends talk of good times, demand swift justice for Nhaveen

GEORGE TOWN: Friends and concerned Malaysians have taken to Facebook to vent their anger on the attack on 18-year-old T. Nhaveen.

Many wished the youth, who is unconscious at Penang Hospital, a speedy recovery, while others called for swift justice.

His friend, Keshwin Devar Rao, in a Facebook posting, asked Nhaveen to “return back safely”.

“Nhaveen, I still remember that Taman Tun Sardon Astaka mamak stall where we used to talk during late nights. Come back and call me keshuu kutty again. Get well soon, Nhaveen,” he said.

Leela Kandiah said she was praying for a miracle for Nhaveen.

She recalled how after the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia examination, Nhaveen did not waste time and attended a cinematography workshop.

“When I talked to you, I (got) to know that your interest in the movie industry is very high. Dey thambi (Hey, brother), I know you are fighting for your life right now. To his parents, stay strong.

“What is happening to him is tantamount to ‘murder’! I hope miracles happen... Will pray for you.”

It was reported that Nhaveen was supposed to leave for Kuala Lumpur on Monday to enrol in a college for a music course.

His relatives said it had always been his dream to be a famous music composer like India’s Oscar-winning A.R. Rahman.

Another friend, Sumi Suryakumar, posted on her Facebook page a selfie she took with Nhaveen last week.

“Saw you on Tuesday completely fine and happy, managed to take a selfie...

“On Saturday early morning, you were in a different state.

“Be strong, Havoc Nhaveen (Nhaveen’s Facebook name). Boy, come back to us soon. Justice will prevail!” she said.

Suhaina Ramalek said: “Speedy recovery, brother. Be strong.

Manusia semakin kejam. Harap mereka yang bertanggungjawab mendapat balasan yang setimpal. (Humans are becoming more cruel. Hope those responsible will be punished.)”
