SEREMBAN: The state government is satisfied with the level of cleanliness of food stalls at the Ramadan bazaar here.
State exco for agriculture and basic industry Datuk Hasim Rusdi said, stall operators have been following the rules set by the state government and no issues have been brought up so far.
“We can’t expect profit by simply operating a stall just because everyone else is doing it, so it depends on the cleanliness, price, taste, and most importantly on how the customers are being treated,” he said during a walkabout at the Seremban 2 Ramadan bazaar here, today.
Hasim also delivered goodie bags to more than 40 stall operators at the event.
“The main purpose of this programme is to meet with the traders and also to monitor their level of cleanliness and for us to conduct price checks,” he said.
