JOHOR BARU: Johor crown prince Tunku Mahkota Johor Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim turns 33 today.
The first born of Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar and Permaisuri Johor Raja Zarith Sofiah Sultan Idris Shah received plenty of greetings from netizens.
They prayed for the crown prince's health, success and happiness.
Sultan Ibrahim, in his Facebook page, posted his birthday wish to his son in the form of a poster, while Raja Zarith conveyed a heartfelt message in her personal FB page.
"Wishing my eldest son, Ismail, a very Happy Birthday! Thank you for giving us strength during dark days, and joy in happier times. May Allah bless you with health, happiness and success, and may He grant you His guidance always," said Raja Zarith Sofiah.
The people of Johor and around the country showered the crown prince, fondly known as TMJ, with wishes of good health and prosperity.
Many people included e-greeting cards as well as animated birthday GIFs in their comment postings.
Pushpa Kanagaratnam wrote: "Happy Birthday TMJ. May God bless you with good health, happiness and success in everything you do."
Nasirah Rahman wished Tunku Ismail well on his special day.
"Many happy returns of the day TMJ...Be wiser...be a loving son husband and father...."
The Johor Southern Tigers FB page also penned down a birthday message to the crown prince.
"Our highest congratulations and blessings to HRH Major General Tunku Ismail Ibni Sultan Ibrahim, Crown Prince of Johor, in conjunction of His Royal Highness' 33rd birthday on June 30th 2017, corresponding to 6 Syawal 1438 Hijrah."
Scores of Darul Ta'zim (JDT) fans as far as Kuala Lumpur also sent their birthday wishes via the Johor Southern Tigers page.
