This is to facilitate investigations into FIC’s purchase of a RM330 million four-star hotel in Kensington, London.

Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) investigation director Datuk Simi Abd Ghani confirmed the arrest. He said the suspect is expected to be remanded at Putrajaya magistrate's court tomorrow.

Earlier, the man arrived at MACC headquarters at 9.30am to have his statement recorded.

It was reported that MACC was investigating FIC for the questionable purchase of a hotel in London.

MACC chief commissioner Datuk Dzulkifli Ahmad had said the purchase of the hotel was above the market price, causing millions of ringgit in losses to the investment arm of the plantations giant.
