Missing 9-year-old girl found safe

PORT DICKSON: Less than 24 hours after she was reported missing, the 9-year-old girl, believed to have been abducted from her house this morning, has been found at around 9.15pm tonight.

When contacted, her father, Fazil Abdullah, 35, said, her daughter, Faralysa Amani Fazil was found at Port Dickson Polytechnic quarters guard's house, with several bruises on her arms.

"Someone had dropped her there. So far, we don't have much information on who is behind this, but the most important thing now is that she has safely returned home. I am so relieved she has been found," he said.

"We will talk to her after she is okay. We are accompanying her to Teluk Kemang police station to assist with the police investigation," he said.

Faralysa was found missing by her father this morning at 6.45am, when the latter tried to wake her up for school.

In his effort to search for his daughter, Fazil found traces of break-in around his house, which had prompted him to believe that his daughter had been kidnapped by the robber.

“I discovered that the front door was not locked and the window was opened. I also lost the money I kept in my wallet, which I put near the television. It then appeared to me that maybe my daughter had been kidnapped by the robber who had broken into my house,” he said.
