School boy attacks and breaks classmate's leg

SEREMBAN: What started as a series of "exchange of words" between two classmates turned ugly, when one of them was attacked and suffered a broken leg.

In the 1 pm incident, a 14-year-old boy from a secondary school here was allegedly attacked by a classmate, who was dissatisfied over remarks made by the former.

When contacted, Seremban district police deputy chief Supritendent Sulizmie Affendy Sulaiman confirmed that a police report had been lodged by the victim’s 43-year-old sister at 3.03pm.

“According to the victim’s sister, the victim had earlier made some jokes which had triggered the suspect’s anger. The victim had immediately apologised but was ignored by the suspect who then physically attacked the victim.

“During the fight, the victim suffered broken leg and was immediately sent to the hospital by the school before informing the incident to his family member,” he said.

Sulizmie Affendy added, the suspect has been identified and the case is being investigated under Section 325 of the Penal code.
