PM Najib offers condolences, condemns Las Vegas massacre

KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak offered his condolences to those grieving for victims of the Las Vegas shooting which happened on late Sunday in the United States.

In Najib’s Twitter post, he said; “Saddened by the senseless violence in Las Vegas. Thoughts and prayers with the loved ones of those lost. Malaysia stands with the American people.”

A gunman killed at least 58 people and wounded about 500 when he opened fire on a country music concert in Las Vegas late Sunday.

Authorities have identified 64-year-old Stephen Paddock, who was armed with more than 10 rifles, as the man responsible for the mass shooting at a crowd of over 20,000 people.
