KANGAR: A 34-year-old man was killed when he was hit by a KTM komuter train at Km141.25 at Bukit Keteri near here on Tuesday.
The body of Mohd Arif Eisha, who is believed to have been mentally ill, was found in a drain near the railway tracks by the train driver, who lodged a police report at 4pm.
"The victim was hit by a train which had left Padang Besar for Butterworth at 3.25pm,” Padang Besar district police chief Supt Ghazani Abd Ghani said at the scene.
The body was taken to the Tuanku Fauziah Hospital. -- Bernama
