BANTING: Four people including two senior citizens and a toddler were killed in a house blaze in Tanjung Sepat, here this morning.
Selangor Fire and Rescue Department assistant director (operations) said the victims' remains were found by firemen who were deployed to the scene after receiving a call at 6.08am.
Fifteen firemen with two fire engines and am ambulance were rushed to the house.
"During the operation, firemen found the first victim's remains at 6.43am, followed by the second victim four minutes later.
"The third and fourth victims were found together at 6.58am," he said.
Sani said the first victim, a woman, was identified as Lim Mai Shak, 68.
The second victim, a man, was identified as Chia Tee Nang, 73, while the third was a three-year-old toddler identified as Chia Yuan Bin.
Sani said the fourth victim was identified as a nine-year-old boy, but authorities have yet to identify his full name.
