KUALA NERUS: The state-owned Eastern Pacific Industrial Corporation Bhd ( Epic Bhd) and Etiqa Takaful donated RM259,800 in cash aid to 866 fishermen, passenger ferry operators and labourers, at an event in Dataran Permata, here today.
Terengganu Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Ahmad Razif Abdul Rahman said each recepient recieved RM300, including a basket of essential items worth RM100.
At the same event, Epic Bhd also donated physioteraphy equipment worth RM119,434.44 to the Seberang Takir Rehabilitation Centre.
Epic Group chief executive officer Noor Fadzil Mohamed Nor handed over the donations to the centre's director, Zulkifli Taib, witnessed by Razif.
