SHAH ALAM: Light rain has failed to dampen the atmosphere at Media Prima Bhd’s inaugural #Gegaria Fest here, with crowds arriving for the Saturday event as early as 8am.
Aimed at the young and young-at-heart, the lifestyle festival offers a wealth of events, showcases, activities, food and opportunities meant to enthral, entertain and inspire visitors.
The festival venue of Setia City here is divided into five main zones: #Gegaria Makan-Makan, #Gegaria Throwback Tunnel, #Gegaria Lifestyle, #Gegaria Community and #Gegaria Entertainment.
The event kicked off with #GegariaZumba with Zumba instructor, Jessica Ong at the main stage.
Meanwhile, crowds thronged the #Gegaria Lifestyle zone for a make-up tutorial by Mafarikha.
The one-day event also offers the chance for festival-goers to experience sharing sessions with a range of fascinating people – young entrepreneurs, social media celebrities, and six finalists of Anugerah Juara Lagu 32 among them.
Video game lovers meanwhile, have a chance to win RM10,000 in prize money for E-Sports games such as FIFA Online 3, Arena Of Valor, and League Of Legends at the #Gegaria Entertainment Zone.
