SHAH ALAM: A woman fell to her death from the 17th floor of an apartment building at Seksyen 16 here on Sunday.
Her body was discovered by residents of the apartment block at about 1.37pm and the authorities were immediately alerted.
“When we arrived at the location, witnesses informed us that the woman fell from the 17th floor.
“However, we could not find any identification documents on the body,” said Shah Alam police chief Assistant Commissioner Shafien Mamat.
No criminal element has been found by the police and the case has been classified as “sudden death.”
“The body was sent to the Tengku Ampuan Rahimah Hospital for a post-mortem.
"We are now trying to trace the victim’s family members. We ask members of the public with any relevant information to come forward to assist the investigation,” Shafien added.
