KUALA LUMPUR: Tabung Haji (TH) on Friday urged its depositors to update their personal profiles to ensure smooth transactions, especially on matters related to preparations for the haj.
In a statement, its group managing director and chief executive officer Datuk Seri Johan Abdullah said only half of TH’s depositors have updated their personal details.
“As of today, we have 9.3 million depositors – but only 2.9 million have updated their personal information, such as addresses and telephone numbers.
“We urge the rest to update their profile as soon as possible to avoid any hiccups when their turn comes to perform the haj,” he said.
Johan added that those who wish to update their profiles can head to any TH branch nationwide, as well as Bank Islam, Bank Rakyat, Maybank Islamic and Urban Transformation Centres (UTCs).
