Chong Wei lodges report over sex video

KUALA LUMPUR: National badminton champion Datuk Lee Chong Wei has lodged a police report over a viral sex video which has been linked to him.

Confirming this to the New Straits Times Press, he said he had lodged the report but declined to say where he had done so.

“I have already lodged the report at a police station, but not at (federal police headquarters in) Bukit Aman. I will leave it to police to investigate the issue,” he said.

Earlier, Lee had said he would lodge a report at Bukit Aman, but when he did not turn up, NSTP called him for his comments.

He reiterated that the man in the video shown having sex with an unknown woman was not him.

“Whatever it is, just wait for police to complete their investigations,” he said.

The video in question was a clip which lasted three minutes and 12 seconds showing the beginning of a sex act between a man which was said to be Lee and an unknown woman.

Though it could not be ascertained, it appeared that the couple were filming themselves.
