KUALA LUMPUR: Fuel prices are set to go down across the board from midnight tonight.
RON95 petrol will be priced at RM2.23 per litre, down 10 sen from RM2.33 last week. RON97 on the other hand will go down by 11 sen, at RM2.50 per litre.
The price for diesel (Euro 2M) will go down 12 sen at RM2.19 per litre. It was RM2.31 per litre last week. Euro 5 diesel will be priced at RM2.29 (from, RM2.41 per litre last week).
The new fuel prices are for the period of Feb 15 to 21.
The weekly fuel pricing mechanism was implemented in April last year.
A managed monthly float system for fuel prices had been in effect since Dec 1, 2014, following the removal of fuel subsidies.
