KUALA LUMPUR: After three decades of playing Sports Toto games, a punter was finally rewarded with RM13.3 million,when he won the Toto 4D Jackpot 1 on 4 March 2018.
The retired salesman from Perak said he had been playing the Sports Toto games since he started working decades ago.
The 68-year-old said he never let up in playing his lucky numbers 7935 & 6303, which finally saw lady luck shinning on him in big way.
“I am persistent and I will not miss out a draw because the lucky numbers – 7935 & 6303 had won me over RM10,000 many years ago.
“I have been buying the same set of numbers since the last win as they were and are still lucky to me,” he said.
His lucky punter’s daughter who accompanied him to claim the winnings, told Sports Toto that her father was very calm when she and her siblings alerted him that his lucky numbers appeared in the first and third prize of Toto 4D on Sunday night.
“We did not know that he had bought the Toto 4D Jackpot ticket too. When he told us that he won the jackpot prize, none of us believed him until we checked the results online.
“We were happier and more excited than our father after knowing that he actually won RM13.3 million,” she added.
The winner said he would share a portion of the winnings with his children although he has yet to plan on using the prize money.
He bought a System 3 ticket, which had not only won him a whopping RM13,273,197.40 but also an additional RM336.
