Watch: Malaysians try spiciest Korean food; some catch fire, others don't break a sweat

KUALA LUMPUR: Spicy Korean food has set fire to the local dining scene, as chili-loving Malaysians lap up the country’s tongue-scalding delicious fare.

It seems that gastronomically-masochistic Malaysians can’t get enough of dishes from the land of K-pop and kimchi.

With that in mind, we recently challenged a few of our colleagues to try out the spiciest Korean food, and rate the level of hotness from 1 to 10.

The results were interesting, as some of them felt the burn right away, while others didn't even taste the chilli!

But in true Malaysian style, all of them totally enjoyed the food and went for seconds and thirds.
