Cuepacs: Civil servants hardwork recognised by government

PUTRAJAYA: The nine incentives announced by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak showed that the government was appreciative to the 1.6 million civil servant’s hard work in putting Malaysia on the right track.

Cuepacs president Datuk Azih Muda said the incentives will prove beneficial to the public servants and they could not thank the government enough.

He said the civil servants were grateful for the annual salary increment which had been announced three times in 2013, 2014 and 2018.

“The annual salary increment is a token of appreciation to the civil servants who had been productive in their respective organisations.

“Cuepacs is grateful for this and would like to thank the Prime Minister,” he said after the 16th Civil Service Premier Gathering (MAPPA).

He said the incentives would also motivate the civil servants to work harder to further develop the country and boost the service quality for the people.

“We will never forget the government’s kindness and contribution.

“We promise that we will show more productivity in achieving par excellence in this life and the next, as expressed by the Prime Minister,” he said. Additional reporting by Mohd Husni Mohd Noor, Irwan Sharizan Ismail, Zanariah Abd Mutalib, and Suhaila Shahrul Annuar.
