WATCH: NST's 10 Quickies With... Jamal Yunus

KUALA LUMPUR: For the past two years, Datuk Jamal Yunos has become a household name of sort, thanks to his "interesting" way of holding street protests.

He has appeared in a towel during the 2016 water crisis; smashed beer crates during the Beer Festival ban; dressed like a grave digger complete with a coffin and hearses; and set up nearly a dozen beds while giving out free ice cream in protest of massage parlours in Kuala Lumpur and Selangor.

All this happened in front of the Selangor Menteri Besar's office. He claimed to be doing all this for the people and ensuring "a check and balance" in opposition-ruled state government.

News that he, who is Sungai Besar Umno division chief, will not be contesting in the upcoming elections made some waves this week as many had assumed that he - with all the antics and attention-grabbing stunts - would have been chosen as a candidate.

Jamal joins us on NST's 10 Quickies: GE14 Edition today where he answers a number of questions.

Is this Datuk, who owned the now bankrupt-Sekinchan Ikan Bakar Restaurant, for real?

We also asked him how does it really feel to be 'Datuk Jamal Yunos', as well as the origins of all his "creative" demonstration ideas.

He even told us who his enemy is and what he aspires to become.

And, the hottest question of all - "Does he have water at home now?".
