KUALA LUMPUR: Umno Youth is confident that the government, under the leadership of Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak, will succeed in creating millions of jobs.
“With the nation’s increasing revenue, and stable and improving economic status, Umno Youth has confidence that the party president’s (Najib) dream to create four million jobs for Malaysians will come true,” said Umno Youth urban affairs and housing executive councillor Datuk Nazir Hussin Aktar Hussin.
“I urge youths to support the government’s efforts.
“The Barisan Nasional leadership has worked hard to meet the needs and wishes of all Malaysians, especially youths,” he said, adding that Umno Youth welcomed the MyApprenticeship programme, which was initiated by Najib, to create a million jobs.
Nazir said government programmes that were put in place to attract foreign investment had generated many employment opportunities.
“Umno Youth hopes that Malaysians, especially youths, will take advantage of the opportunities provided by the BN government with full confidence and appreciation,” Faisal said.
“Datuk Seri Najib Razak’s sensitivity to the importance of providing more job opportunities shows that the country’s top leadership cares about the people,” he said, adding that Najib had given a lot of support to the BN Youth Job Fair programme since 2011.
“All these efforts by the government are to ensure that there are plenty of jobs, especially for youths who have just graduated from institutions of higher learning.”
