KUALA LUMPUR: The Pavilion Residences became the focus of the news media once more yesterday after a video clip featuring luxury vehicles stationed in the condominium’s basement car park was uploaded to social media on Wednesday.
The 24-second mobile phone-shot footage shows a row of parked cars – comprising two Bentleys, a Rolls Royce, a BMW and a Mercedes Benz – all allegedly owned by former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak.
According to Bernama, a gaggle of journalists, photographers and cameramen had assembled at the Jalan Raja Chulan condominium’s entrance yesterday, seeking access to the parking lot. None was allowed to enter.
At 6.45pm yesterday, a Mercedes Benz and a Toyota Vellfire – vehicles routinely seen ferrying Najib to and from his Jalan Langgak Duta home – were seen entering the Pavilion Residences' basement parking area.
The vehicles left the condominium several hours later.
Bernama added that there was no police presence at the site.
