#NSTviral: Passers-by move parked car which was obstructing buses in KL [WATCH]

KUALA LUMPUR: Passers-by had to carry and move a parked car which was obstructing traffic at a busy junction in the downtown area here.

The car, a blue Perodua Bezza, was parked at a road bend and it blocked the path of stage buses which could not navigate the turn.

A video of the incident at the intersection of Lebuh Ampang and Jalan Ampang went viral on various social platforms. It garnered about 730,000 views since it was posted yesterday at 7.16pm by user @KlutzyKucing on X.

The social media user expressed frustration and questioned the selfishness of individuals who parked their cars inconsiderately.

The video started with a double-decker RapidKL bus encountering difficulty navigating the road bend, which led to significant traffic congestion that frustrated many drivers.

A group of people were then seen working together to move the blue car to another side of the road curve. This allowed the double-decker bus and vehicles behind it to move.

However, another problem happened later when another RapidKL bus faced difficulty when it approached the same bend. This prompted the group to once again reposition the blue car closer to the road's edge to allow the second bus to move.

Finally, the video showed traffic police with its tow truck arriving at the location to remove the car, ultimately resolving the traffic congestion.

Enraged netizens flooded the comment section of the post.

A user, @mazura017 said: "This is a global nuisance! Next time, if you feel like driving and causing a lot of trouble for many people, don't bother driving. Take Grab instead!!!"

Replying to the video, another user @jokerasya said: "Because some of our people lack empathy. (They) refused to wonder what it's like to be the other guy that has to deal with our stupid actions and consequences.

"If everyone starts to think of other people, the world will surely become a better place."

Another user @wallawaniey said it was good to know that people could ask the traffic police to help remove vehicles that were obstructing traffic.

"Oh, I just found out that (we) can report to the police to tow away cars that are parked in a disorderly way and disrupt the road.

"From now on, if you see cars parked messily, call the traffic police to bring their truck," said the social media user.
