Police instructed to arrest Jho Low

MUAR: Police would take the necessary steps to arrest Jho Low, the individual believed to be the main suspect in the 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB) case.

Home Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin said he was confident that the Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) would take the necessary action to arrest the elusive businessman.

He said the Home Ministry has since instructed the Police to undertake the necessary action to arrest the businessman.

"Whatever the decision, the 1MDB Special Task Committee will decide but I had directed the Police sometime back to bring Jho Low back home

"Please wait. The responsible party including the PDRM will take the necessary measures, "he said.

He was commenting on whether Jho Low would be arrested and brought back to Malaysia in the near future.

Muhyiddin who is also the Pagoh MP, said this at the Pagoh Parliamentary Constituency Open House at the Pagoh Sports Complex here today.

Last Tuesday, Jho Low said he was ready to answer to authorities probe on IMDB but wanted such questioning to take place in Dubai, where the businessman is currently present.
