KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad visited PKR de facto leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim at the Universiti Malaya Medical Centre (UMMC).
Anwar was admitted to UMMC last Saturday after complaining of shoulder and back pains upon returning from Turkey.
His condition is reported to be stable.
Twitter account @DSAIsupporters shared a photo of the visit in which deputy prime minister Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail was also present.
The picture was accompanied with a caption that said, "Mahathir visiting his friend Anwar in the hospital. May the cooperation in PH (Pakatan Harapan) remain strong and solid. #Pray4Anwar."
