AMPANG: Ampang residents will be able to pay their monthly parking fee as well as check if their car is being towed with E-PBP and MiSys Tunda parking system beginning Sept 15.
Launched by Ampang Jaya Municipal Council (MPAJ), MiSys Tunda makes it easy for the public to check and confirm if their car is being towed by just browsing the app, checking the parking location and the number of days saved in depot.
This application can be used throughout MPAJ area and can be downloaded at MPAJ Parking via Google Playstore and App store.
Meanwhile, The Parking Division, Management Services Department, has provided facilities to the residents of Ampang Jaya, specifically for the Strata Title, by establishing a monthly purchase of parking passes (E-PBP) online.
The residents can now purchase and renew their monthly parking passes throughout MPAJ administration area by simply downloading this application.
Yang Dipertua MPAJ Abd Hamid Hussain said Ampang residents could replace Smart Selangor Parking and use the specfic MPAJ parking app instead.
”We used Smart Selangor Parking system before, but it can only be used in certain areas of Selangor. Therefore we created a specific parking app for Ampang Jaya territory so that monthly parking pass payment can be done online and without going to the counter.”
“To use MPAJ Parking app residents have to register theit assesment tax number (cukai pintu) or if renting, they have to state thier rent contract to MPAJ.”
It is also applicable to those who live above shop lots, he said.
“In one household, only two cars can register for the RM30 monthly parking (per car).”
”If more than two cars, for the third car you have to pay RM70 monthly because we only allow two cars per household,“ he said at the Monthly Assembly of Ampang Jaya Municipal Council and E-PBP and MiSys Tunda launch ceremony.
“With this app it is easier to regulate registered cars whether they renew or do not renew their parking monthly fee.”
He added that towed vehicles could be claimed at the local council’s depots.
